TechPOS International Corp is a Canadian SaaS company serving more than 1,000 retail stores across North America.
We provide point-of-sale and retail management technology for specialty retailers, with tools across POS, inventory, reporting, e-commerce, digital menus, customer loyalty, and operational management.
We are scaling our sales organization and looking for an Account Executive who can own a personal pipeline, manage accounts with discipline, and help expand TechPOS into new markets and retail groups.

Position Summary
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying opportunities to running discovery calls, delivering product demos, preparing proposals, managing follow-ups, and closing new accounts.
This role requires strong communication, organization, pipeline ownership, and the ability to speak confidently with business owners, operators, and decision-makers.
The ideal candidate is accountable, self-motivated, comfortable with outbound sales, and capable of managing multiple opportunities through a structured sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a personal pipeline of qualified sales opportunities
- Prospect new accounts through outbound outreach, referrals, inbound leads, and market research
- Manage accounts from first conversation through signed agreement
- Conduct discovery calls to understand each prospect’s current systems, business challenges, and operational priorities
- Deliver product demos tailored to each prospect’s needs
- Prepare proposals, follow-ups, and sales documentation
- Manage pricing conversations, objections, timelines, and next steps
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and activity tracking
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Onboarding after a deal is closed
- Represent TechPOS professionally in meetings, demos, trade shows, and industry conversations
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience in B2B, technology, retail systems, business services, or a related field
- Experience managing a personal pipeline and accounts
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and creating new opportunities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confidence leading discovery calls and product demos
- Strong follow-up, organization, and deal management skills
- Ability to speak professionally with business owners and decision-makers
- Comfortable working with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms
- Self-motivated, accountable, and results-oriented
- Able to work in person from Vancouver, BC
Preferred Qualifications
- SaaS sales experience
- Full-cycle sales experience, from prospecting to close
- Experience selling into retail, hospitality, cannabis, franchise, or SMB markets
- Familiarity with POS systems, e-commerce, payments, inventory management, or retail operations
- Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce
Compensation
- Base salary: $50,000–$60,000
- Commission
- Full-time position

What Success Looks Like
A successful Account Executive at TechPOS will be able to consistently build pipeline, run strong discovery calls, deliver clear demos, follow up with structure, maintain accurate CRM records, and close new business.
This role is best suited for someone who takes ownership, enjoys building relationships, and is comfortable being measured by pipeline quality, sales activity, and closed revenue.
Additional Information
This is an in-person role based in Vancouver, BC.
Candidates should be comfortable working with the team in the heart of Vancouver and contributing to a high-accountability sales environment.

Compensation
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
